I practise psychoanalytic psychotherapy with individual adults, and I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy. In conjunction with my clinical work, I offer assessments for psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and other services described on the various pages of this site.
As a graduate psychologist, I began my professional life working with those experiencing severe mental health problems. I undertook further training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, qualifying in 2002 as a psychodynamic psychoanalytic psychotherapist. Alongside my private practice I also run a therapeutic Community (TC) for individuals struggling with various forms of emotional distress.
Some of the difficulties that I have treated in my psychotherapy practice include: relationship difficulties, identity problems, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, borderline personality disorder, abuse of many kinds, eating disorders, self-harm, trauma of many kinds, psychoses, sexuality, loss and bereavement.
